The Thirsty Crow

A Hot Day
Once upon a time, it was a very hot day.
The sun was shining brightly, and a little crow was flying in the sky, feeling very thirsty.
एक बार की बात है, बहुत गर्मी का दिन था।
सूरज चमक रहा था, और एक छोटा कौआ आसमान में उड़ रहा था, उसे बहुत प्यास लगी थी।

Searching for Water
The crow looked everywhere for water. He flew over trees, houses, and fields but could not find a drop to drink. He started to feel tired and sad.
कौआ पानी की तलाश में हर जगह गया। वह पेड़ों, घरों और खेतों के ऊपर से उड़ता रहा, लेकिन उसे पीने के लिए एक बूँद भी नहीं मिली।
वह थका हुआ और उदास महसूस करने लगा।

Finding a Pot
Suddenly, the crow spotted a pot lying under a tree.He quickly flew down and looked inside.
There was a little water at the bottom of the pot!
अचानक, कौवे ने एक पेड़ के नीचे एक बर्तन देखा। वह जल्दी से नीचे उतरा और अंदर देखा।
बर्तन के नीचे थोड़ा पानी था!

A Big Problem
The crow tried to reach the water with his beak, but the water was too low.
He could not reach it at all! He thought, “Oh no, what should I do?”
कौए ने अपनी चोंच से पानी तक पहुँचने की कोशिश की, लेकिन पानी बहुत नीचे था।
वह उस तक बिल्कुल भी नहीं पहुँच पाया! उसने सोचा, “अरे नहीं, मुझे क्या करना चाहिए?”

A Clever Idea
The crow thought hard and came up with a clever idea.
He picked up small stones nearby and dropped them one by one into the pot.
कौए ने बहुत सोचा और एक चतुर विचार के साथ आया।
उसने पास में छोटे पत्थर उठाए और उन्हें एक-एक करके बर्तन में डाल दिया।

Water Rising
As the crow dropped more and more stones, the water in the pot slowly rose higher and higher!
Soon, the water was close enough for him to drink.
जैसे-जैसे कौआ ज़्यादा से ज़्यादा पत्थर गिराता गया, बर्तन में पानी धीरे-धीरे ऊपर उठता गया!
जल्द ही, पानी उसके पीने के लिए पर्याप्त करीब आ गया।

Happy Crow
The crow happily drank the water and flew away feeling fresh and happy.
He learned that clever thinking can solve big problems!
कौए ने खुशी-खुशी पानी पिया और ताज़ा और खुश महसूस करते हुए उड़ गया।
उसने सीखा कि चतुर सोच बड़ी समस्याओं को हल कर सकती है!

Moral of the Story
Where there is a will, there is a way.
जहाँ इच्छा होती है, वहाँ रास्ता निकल आता है।
