A Beautiful Day in the Jungle
जंगल का सुंदर दिन
Once upon a time, there was a beautiful green jungle.
Many trees, flowers, and birds made the jungle lively and colorful.
एक समय की बात है, एक हरा-भरा सुंदर जंगल था।
पेड़-पौधे, फूल और चहचहाते पक्षी जंगल को जीवंत बनाते थे।
In this jungle lived a clever fox.
She was proud of her intelligence and always thought she was very smart.
इस जंगल में एक चालाक लोमड़ी रहती थी।
वह अपनी अक्ल पर बहुत गर्व करती थी और खुद को बहुत समझदार मानती थी।
The Hungry Fox
भूखी लोमड़ी
One morning, the fox was very hungry.
She had not eaten anything since morning.
एक सुबह लोमड़ी को बहुत भूख लगी थी।
उसने सुबह से कुछ भी नहीं खाया था।
“My stomach is empty. I must find some food,” she said.
“मेरा पेट खाली है। मुझे आज कुछ खाना ढूंढना ही होगा,” उसने कहा।
She started walking around the jungle in search of food.
वह खाना ढूंढने के लिए जंगल में इधर-उधर घूमने लगी।
The Grape Vine
अंगूरों की बेल
After some time, the fox reached a garden.
There she saw a vine full of big, juicy grapes.
थोड़ी देर बाद लोमड़ी एक बाग़ के पास पहुँची।
वहाँ उसने बड़े-बड़े, रसीले अंगूरों से भरी एक बेल देखी।
The grapes were ripe and shining in the sunlight.
The fox’s mouth started watering.
अंगूर पूरी तरह पके हुए थे और धूप में चमक रहे थे।
लोमड़ी के मुँह में पानी आ गया।
“These grapes look sweet and delicious,” she thought.
“ये अंगूर बहुत मीठे और स्वादिष्ट लग रहे हैं,” उसने सोचा।
First Attempt
पहली कोशिश
The fox stood under the grape vine and jumped up.
She tried to catch the grapes with her mouth.
लोमड़ी अंगूरों की बेल के नीचे खड़ी हुई और उछल पड़ी।
उसने मुँह से अंगूर पकड़ने की कोशिश की।
But the grapes were too high.
She could not reach them.
लेकिन अंगूर बहुत ऊपर थे।
वह उन तक नहीं पहुँच पाई।
Second and Third Attempt
दूसरी और तीसरी कोशिश
The fox did not give up.
She ran back a little and jumped higher.
लोमड़ी ने हार नहीं मानी।
वह थोड़ा पीछे गई और ज़ोर से उछली।
She tried again and again.
Sometimes she jumped, sometimes she ran and jumped.
उसने बार-बार कोशिश की।
कभी उछलकर, कभी दौड़कर कूदने की कोशिश की।
Still, the grapes were out of her reach.
फिर भी अंगूर उसकी पहुँच से बाहर थे।
Tired and Angry
थकी और नाराज़
After many attempts, the fox became tired.
Her legs started hurting and she felt weak.
कई कोशिशों के बाद लोमड़ी थक गई।
उसके पैर दुखने लगे और वह कमज़ोर महसूस करने लगी।
She sat down and looked at the grapes angrily.
वह बैठ गई और गुस्से से अंगूरों को देखने लगी।
